FAQs

  • I’ve had an accident, what do I do?

If your car is drivable, you can bring it into our workshop for an on-the-spot estimate. We can then start to process your claim as soon as possible to get you back out on the road. Alternatively, you can call us or submit an online request. Our Repair Process (link) page provides you with a step-by-step guide on what to do in the advent of an accident.

  • What happens if my vehicle is not drivable?

If the vehicle is not drivable, you can arrange to have it towed to our workshop and we can take care of the rest.

  • Can I get a repair quote over the phone?

Unfortunately not. Due to the number of variables involved when it comes to vehicle damage, we need to see the vehicle to provide an accurate estimate.

  • Do I have to contact my insurer? Or can you do it?

Yes, you will need to contact your insurer to inform them of the accident / incident. They will then provide with the necessary information needed to process your claim.

  • Will I have to pay an excess?

This will depend on your insurance company and your current policy. Your insurance company will be able to provide this information for you.

  • Do I have to get more than one repair quote?

In most cases no. As we are an approved repairer to most insurance companies one quote is generally all that is required, however there are some circumstances where two quotes will be required. We will inform you if this is the case but generally you will only need one quote.

  • Where is my vehicle stored?

Your vehicle is kept on our secured, locked and alarmed premises, under cover.

  • How long will you need my vehicle for?

This depends on the nature of the damage. Factors such as the type of vehicle and the availability of parts will impact on the length of time it takes to repair your vehicle, however we always aim to have your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible. The more common the car the more likely the parts will be readily available. As cars have become more complex, it is more common now to uncover unseen damage during the repair process. This means added time to order parts and make repairs. We always give you our best estimate of the time required when we first write your estimate. During the repair process we will keep you informed of the progress of repairs and of any unforeseen matters that may cause a hold-up.

  • Am I able to use a hire car while my vehicle is being repaired?

You will need to check with your insurer to see if a hire car is provided as part of your policy.

  • Can you match my vehicle’s colour?

We take great pride in our attention to detail. We have made major investments in the latest technology to allow us to ensure each vehicle has been repaired to the highest possible standard.  Our computerized paint mixing system helps us to achieve an accurate colour match for your car. We mix our own paint and blend the adjacent panels around the damaged section as necessary to ensure colour consistency. With today’s technology, our downdraft spray and bake ovens and paint curing systems, we can duplicate your car’s factory finish in both colour and durability.

  • Will you notify my insurer before the repairs are made?

After we have provided a quote for the damage to the vehicle, we will notify your insurer so they are able to inspect the vehicle. From here, once the repairs are authorized by your insurer work on your vehicle will commence and you will be notified.

  • How will I know when my vehicle is ready?

We will keep you informed throughout the repair process. You are more than welcome to contact us at any time to enquire about the progress of your vehicle repairs.

  • Do you provide a warranty or guarantee on vehicle repairs?

Yes, all repairs provided by us, are guaranteed for three years.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard, EFTPOS and cash.

  • How is payment handled if someone else hits me?

In this case, you are considered the claimant and are entitled to restoration of your car to pre-accident condition. If the owner of the other vehicle involved has insurance covering your vehicle, you will first need to organize estimates for the damage to your car. These estimates should be forwarded to the other party together with a covering letter requesting that they pass them onto their insurance company for consideration. You should then be contacted by their insurance company to arrange assessment of the damage to your car and suitable arrangements made to have your vehicle repaired or a settlement reached.
